What Nasa Deal means for Jubilee
Today marked the signing of the deal between ODM, FORD Kenya, ANC and Wiper parties in an agreement that will see them front a single candidate under the NASA coalition. This move has dispelled looming fears of a possible split. The Jubilee regime has been counting on such a misfortune and with the opposition seemingly focused on unity, what does this mean for the ruling party?
Minutes after the signing of the deal, Jubilee's online troop attempted to bring confusion to the opposition followers by faking a document that showed that Kalonzo will be the flag bearer. This was meant to cause panic among followers of other candidates like Raila, Wetangula and Mudavadi and also bring unwarranted excitement in Ukambani. This didn't work since the document was proved fake. This shows that Jubilee is is panic mode.
Simce Nasa will be this Saturday be in Eldoret, home turf for DP Ruto, it's going to give the opposition political mileage should the turnout be positive. Next stop could be Meru and you know what Uhuru would feel should the locals give them good reception.
